I ended up going to Home Depot, buying a package of 2 tie down straps with cam buckles ($8), some flexible pvc piping for the handles ($2), and a carabiner (.75). I also had a strap or so laying around that I used for the anchor point. Basically, string an end of a tie down through it’s proper cam to create a loop that can be sized. Take the open end of it, not the loop, and string it through the pvc piping that has been cut to be slightly wider than your hand. Knot that to create your handle (and make it big enough you can also put your feet through). Do the same thing to the other tie down strap. Then, connect both of the tie down straps by the top loop with the carabiner. Loop your anchor rope through that as well and boom… insta TRX and you save $190.
